8/7/09 The blogging begins!

We hope that everyone had a great, safe weekend at Breezy Point! Jeremy and I can't believe how fast the whole weekend went. We are still amazed at all the family and friends we had to suppport and celebrate with us. Everything everyone has done means so much to Jeremy and I.
Jeremy and I stayed Sunday night at the resort. After much needed afternoon naps we went out for drinks with family Jeremy still had in town and my parents. We then headed out for dinner to Moonlight Bay.
By the time we got up on Monday morning the last of Jeremy's family was leaving. We had breakfast with my parents and then it was offically just the two of us. It took a moment or two of errie slience and thoughts of "what do we do now, with everyone gone" until we decided our relaxing mini-moon would begin. Well before the honeymoon could begin I had a nail to get fixed and hair to be cut.
We had reservations at Cragun's Resort. The resort grounds are great spread out along great shore line. The rooms were not quite what we expected. Jeremy challenged me on a game of mini golf at Pirates Cove. I will say it was luck on Jeremys behalf and he beat me. 39 to 48! We headed to the resort to check in and decide what to do for dinner. Jeremy has always wanted to go to eat at the restaurant Iven's. We thought we had dress enough stuff for the resort towns but not wuite at Iven's. Our nice jeans and shirts did not compare to the tuxedo the host was wearing. We looked around though and decided we fit in ok. The food was fantastic! Jeremy had the crab legs and I had a shrimp and scallops pasta.
Tuesday morning we decided to check out from Craguns a day early and headed to the casino in Walker. Before the casino we used our free golf passes for the par-3 golf course at the Legacy. I was set for revenge after mini-golf the night before and pulled through and beat him!
From the golf course we headed to the casino. We walked around Walker for a while, got some dinner and headed to the casino for some gaming. We both didnt do so bad with losing much money! We would lose some then win some.

It was back to real life on Thursday!
We did a little furniture shopping on Thursday after work. We found a nice couch and char for the living room and have decided to wait on the new bed. While at the furniture store Jeremy had his first opportunity to refer to me as his "wife". He had some comment to the sales guy about his "wife was in the store earlier that day looking at things". We both stopped, looked at eachother and giggled like we were 5 years old! We got a wierd look from the sales guy at this so we had to explain what the giggles were about.

This weekend it will be a weekend to get caught up on the mountain of laundry we have been building and finishing up on some house things.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Love,

Kristin Dorick :)
PS: Pictures will be added as they come in!
